1. What is a digipack?

Digipack is a style of compact disc. Usually used for singles or special editions which usually protect the CD better. It includes playlist, name of the artists, photos, cover, back cover, extra video, spine, inlays, lyrics.

2. How intertextuality could be used in the marketing of our video

Intertextuality is a link between two media texts;

3.How intertexuality  could be used in the marketing of your digipack

We could have the CD shown in the video, this would make it recognised and make people realise there is a CD.

4. Goodwins three possible relationships between lyrics and visuals in a music video
  • Illustrating
    amplifying
     contradicting

5.An example of how we could develop star image for your artists using star iconography

    • Link our artist and genre into showing an iconic instrument

6.What demands will the record company make on the video and why? (depending on genre)

    • Close up and performance
    • Put clips into the trailer
    • Music to be categorisable
    • Maintain there image all the time
What usually features in a video in addition to narrative and why?

A performance from the artist

What extras could be in the digipack in addition to video and music tracks?
  • A blackberry bar code on it
  • A little biography the audience can engage with the artist more
